Glue for D3 External Door Handle Cover

The front, external, passenger side plastic door handle cover has come off the D3. Is "Superglue" good to use or is there an automotive glue better for the purpose?

Is that the bit that covers the key lock? It is designed to fold back to access the lock - if you glue it on you will not be able to open the door.

Disregard if it is not this bit.

I guess superglue would do the job. Or was it stuck on with 3M double sided tape before?
