Long way from Victoria?
Also, I wouldn't buy a manual, even if it does have all the other fruit on it

It left the factory as a commercial vehicle minus the middle and 3rd row seats hence why its a manual, i dont believe a manual was offered in non commercial vehicles post D3.

I like manuals. I’ve only ever had manuals. I looked for a manual D3 at first but everything was auto so that’s what I got. I don’t regret it at all. Rock crawl without having to modulate the clutch. No gear changes on your run up the Nkgala Rocks bypass and if you do sports shift is so much quicker with less chance of bogging down. I’m not an auto convert. My next road car will be a manual. But for an off-road vehicle it makes so much sense.

There shouldn’t be any need to replace the speedo. My 2010 which I brought with me from the uk when we moved here, has a digital display for speed (as well as analogue) which can be changed from miles to kms via the menu. This also changes the odometer and fuel consumption readings to Aussie friendly versions as well. You still have the analogue speedo in mph of course.
Regarding the manual gearbox. When I was looking to buy, the concensus appeared to be that they went through clutches very quickly, but that may just be internet hearsay (which I’m now passing on!).
