No, nothing that will reach the chassis.

						SupporterHi guys,
Are there any options for high lift jacking points/accessories out there for a D3 with no rock sliders and standard front and rear bars?

You can get hooks that attach to the spokes of your rims.
I did consider getting some with our D4, but I ran out of mounting space on the roof rack for the high lift jack and it turns out we have one of those exhaust jacks which takes up heaps less space and weighs a ton less..

I purchased something a few years ago which consisted of a cast plate with 2x holes that was held in place by 2x wheel studs & nuts that had a cast angle protruding outwards that the jack fitted under & you jacked that.
If memory serves it was made in SA out Modbury/NE way. I don't recall the name but it could be stamped upon it.
another is a piece of kit that bolts onto one wheel stud and braces up against the wheel to allow you to use a Hi-Lift Jack to lift that one wheel
Just had a shufti & it is a 'Jackmayt' Maytow (??)

Cheers

I carried a hi-lift for years as it come with the car.....
Never had a use for it....
it’s been sitting in th garage for the last six years collecting dust.
Saw that antique one & it looks like it could have been their prototype or a homemade job.My one has extra bolts & do dads. Probably Mk 10, truth be known.
My Hy-lift without the above, is mainly used for extracting Star Pickets after wrapping a short chain around said picket ( ? picquet) holding it in with a bolt through the picket. Then Jack away. It easily comes out vertically without breaking one's back or being bent.
Such a clumsy piece of gear. The bugger nearly brained me years ago as the handle just whizzed past my ear & side glanced me on the bonce when I was using it on the S2A front bumper. Another 2" & I would have been history or had permanent brain damage.
I heard that!
