Lavington. Tara service manager very helpful
Hello, I have had excellent service from MLR but they seem to have lost the plot since Chris moved on. Can anyone suggest a really good service for my D4 please, anywhere between Melbourne and Sydney. I am happy with either indy or dealer, and don't mind travelling, as long as I can be confident of top work. With travel though, it would need to be someone with a loan car, so maybe only main dealers.
Thanks for any suggestions, Paul

British Automotive in Romsey may suit you. Ritters in Burwood are always reliable. There are quite a few other independents in Melbourne that others have recommended such as AMV in Ringwood. Closer to you would be Rova Range in Bentleigh. I have no personal experience, but I've only heard good things about them.

Have had a great run with the JLR dealer in Canberra - (not sure I can include their name but there is only one JLR dealer here so you should be able to find them . First interaction with them was several days after we bought our second hand Disco (from another dealer) and I had to call them at midday on a Saturday after an auto electrician failed an install of a brake controller ( leading to all manner of faults and a limping disco). The dealer called two staff in and they were prepared to meet me on the roadside where I had limped and then stopped; they then worked on a weekend (despite it not being usual business hours) and found the fault (wire loom cut with a drill!!).
Mike and the team in the service centre were absolutely fantastic in terms of service, keeping us informed and repairing the loom. Needless to say I was back for my scheduled service and they were again fantastic.
If in Canberra, then try the Series Workshop in Townsville Street Fyshwick - might be a better option than the Stealer - but you will have to book well in advance as they are very popular.
