I have 4.4 V8 D3 MY2006, I’m the third owner, I’ve LCA replaced when I got it, at 175K. I’ve since had the radiator replaced due to rusty connections and replaced a misfiring injector. I’ve had the auto trans pan upgraded and auto serviced. I put in a long range fuel tank which was a bit of a drama because the OA tank I used didn’t have the docs to fit it in the V8. It fitted and works well giving me a range of 8-900km mixed urban and about 1000km highway touring. It’s the cheapest car I ever bought and the best . I just have to watch my right foot I have the NSW fuel check app and try to fill up at the bottom of the P98 price cycle.

    I have the 5.0l V8 & love it

    2011 model.

    Awesome car.

I mostly drive it......whenever I can but avoid heavy traffic if I can.

The stopping & starting is a real fuel drain.

On a long trip I'd get around 10.5 -12 l/100 but in general weekly driving I'm averaging around 13-14l/100.

I drive quite sedately usually but I don't muck around getting to the speed limit.

I don't have to worry about turboes or any of those other expensive diesel issues and with the centre muffler replaced with straight through jobby it sounds awesome.

The video attached is going from no centre to the straight through.

    Enjoy
