D4 VPLAV0066 Daytime Running Light skit - anyone installed?

Has anyone installed the VPLAV0066 DRL onto their D4? Any hints or tips for instal?

I didn't install a kit but enabled Scandinavian Daylight Running Lights in the car configuration file. This used the standard Xenon lights in my D4 TDV6 2.7 but at a lower light output. Doing that confuses every garage as whenever I got the car back from a service the lights would be turned off where I always leave them on auto.

Dealers/repairers generally always turn off auto lights no matter what as as soon as they enter an under cover area the headlights will turn on permanently which equals a flat battery

Does that turn on the signature lights as well as the headlights?

Yes it dd turn on the fairy lights (as well as the xenons), but then I did have the bi-xenons which had fairy lights.

Thanks Ron.

My headlights look as though they are the same as yours. Might fire up the GAPIID Tool and give it a shot. Before I do, what is the default in case I want to reverse it?
