    Air Conditioning

I am hoping to get some assistance please.

I have a 2013 Discovery 4 HSE model. The air conditioning system was working perfectly but on occasion there were no lights coming up on the AC system. That is no temperature lights and no response to switch the fan up or down. The fan runs but only hot air. In the past I have turned the engine off and restarted and all is well again and the AC system operates perfectly. The AC system has now stopped again and will not restart despite switching the engine off and on again. I suspect an electrical problem rather than a mechanical one.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    regards

I am answering my own post!

I checked the fuses to see if any had blown. I removed two which seemed to relate to the AC system and reinserted as they were OK. Once I had done this the AC system is back powered up and running. It seems the processor or controls are getting a mild case of amnesia which needs to powered off and then on to sort out. I am still interested to hear from anybody else that has experienced this problem. I expect I have not solved the problem just worked out to get it up and running.

    regards

It would be worth getting the fault codes read.

Thanks I think I will as I have found the problem has come back intermittently which is very annoying so I do not fix it.

Replace the fuses you extracted before as they may be dodgy.
