Why the heck would I want to drive with it lifted for normal use?
No, I don’t drive lifted unless offroad.
It Burns more fuel,
It’s less stable especially if you need to swerve.
Unless aligned at lift will chop tyres,
As for aesthetics - it’s a Land Rover, not some naff GU.
Either unit will suit your use.

Yep - and now approaching 160K so definitely due for replacement.
But even when I first bought the car, back at 90K, coming from a D2 with ACE I always found the D3 ride too soft - more D1/RRC like which was LR’s intention with the D3.
I am hoping a set of D4 struts will also make it firmer.
