    No - I would rather take advice from others on this and after nearly 10 years asking there is no fix. If you pull a wire from the ignition the car she no go.

    As the process is all controlled by the body ECU, the only way I can see to do this and to retain full functionality inother areas is to get the software in the BECU rewritten.

    Gents, thanks for the info! had an indie service the car last year and some how they disabled the seat belt chime. Wife was very annoyed and returned numerous times to get rectified. They tried the 9 times seat belt trick, scan tool etc, no avail. Went to the car Saturday tried the 9 time trick and it worked. Happy wife!
