I've posted this in L320 Forums... but considering the RRS/D3 share most of this issue... I thought I might try for advise here also..

Good Evening Guys:
Gradually getting my Auction Purchase Range Rover Sport up and going... I've noticed a bit of a ramp smell and sure enough further investigation has shown pretty much completely saturated Carpets on Both Sides of the Vehicle.
(Drivers and Passenger Side... however more prominent on Drivers Side).

I've gone through the usual suspects and cleaned out the following..
- Sunroof Drains (Bit of Gunk around outlets which may have blocked flow, however doesn't seem like the source).
- Checked Pollen Filter for Signs of Leakage... All Dry.
- Checked Air Con Drains... Blew Out with Compressed Air and Tested Flowing Water at Higher Pressure and Coming Out of Bottom of Car Ok.. Carpet near both of these was quite dry... so don't think that's the cause either.

Anyhow... I'm now in the "recovery" stage of things... I've removed the Front Drivers Seat and Amplifier, Dried the Floor and Carpet/Underfoam with a Wet Vac.

I've suspended the Carpet in the air using Spray Bottle Plastic Lids as "Struts/Supports" to try and get some air circulating underneath.

I've left the Car Running at Full Temp with Front Demister On and Re-Circ on to basically use it as a Dehumidifier itself.. This seems to be working well on the Foam in places.


What I'm finding now is that I'm still seeing Water in the Wiring Channels (Lowest Point... )
Is this what I'd expect to find during a De-Humidifying process or do you think I still have a leak from somewhere?

Only other thing I haven't investigated as yet is the "Thule" Branded Roof Racks and whether those channels could be leaking potentially.

Any Ideas/Assistance or advise from people with similar issues would be appreciated.

I first thought Windscreen / A Pillars but still leaking after all of that was sealed.
I believe it's the Roof Rack Rails... when I removed them there was Water in the Holes.

I have sealed them with some Neutral Cure Silicon and Silicon on the Threads of the Bolts... Hopefully that resolves it
