No it doesn’t go back to standard.

						SupporterTwo questions
1) does anyone know what thickness alloy is used on this bar? It’s fairly light, I’m wondering if it actually serves a purpose. I note the ECB ones are 6mm alloy
2) has anyone removed it? Does the car go back to complete standard - any obvious signs it was previously installed, rubbing paint off on wheel arches etc?

The alloy bars look pretty but I don't think they'd withstand a good hit from a roo or worse still a cow which is why I've stuck with a steel bar, mine is from OL. I've also kept the removed front bumper which I was going to sell, in case I decided to sell the D4 ....... all I'd need to do is buy new wheel arches.
Actually I did advertise the bumper complete with all the bits but apparently it's better to just go and get one from a bar installer which ahs been chucked on the scrap heap.
Whatever, I'd rather have a steel bar than alloy just in case.

The LR alloy bar is fugly, sort of mack truck lower section with hoops.
