Tonnes and tonnes of blues stone hauled, Trailer found to have a flat in the garage this morning so borrowed one to bring sand, gravel Cement home.Unloaded and tried pulling the D3 forward to find it was a poor chaff cutter sounding asthmatic spewing smoke
Had to pinch the wifes drive to take the trailer home
Injector? Too Much fuel? Engine management? No warning or indicators. Running perfectly ten minutes before. DOHFlat top on its way- Boo Hoo.
Don't get it towed, James. I can pop over and have a look if you like. Almost certainly be something simple like Tombie suggests.

Thanks for the generous offer DieselLSE. Its at Ritta's already - Poor sods are up to the Rafters and I noted another Flattop delivery of a nice WA plated D3/4 roof rack and three high mounted spotties pulling in after me. Ouch for them
Owen, Craig and Crew looking for me at the moment despite the crazy work load clearly on site.
I am assuming and hoping for some thing as simple as a Tombie kind suggestion.
I had 2 cement mixers going and ........ at the time plus some computer issues at work. Flat tire on trailer a blown tube on the cement mixer and the Disco. Had my bad bits 3 for the day.
The Flat top Driver was a 15 year air-force vet. We have arranged for his Indian mates to join my crew of naughty boys for Anzac day next year if it occurs as I hope. Honestly chatting about the Mirage, MIGs and missiles he got to play with was worth the trip. He was a tad jealous of my Navy travels as ground based Firefighting and Anti Air missiles mount at the end of his service was a bit static at one base.
I rode home on my bike. Poor sods at Ritta may have wanted to puke as I hopped out of the Truck in my bike gear MAMIL and a dirty old hatSweat Feast ++ on a 25 minute ride home. It took longer to drive there
Excuse me please to any subject to my bike show
I really appreciate your offer and suggestion Gents.![]()

Got some sand grabber mats, pretty good, not a perfect fit but good quality. Also finally got a proper spare. The tyre size on the car is 275/65r18, the spare is 255/70r18. That means its the same height, but narrower. Which is good whether its on the roof or underneath (it fits underneath)

Hi again Spence, sorry for taking so long to get ack to you, I'm flat out.
Have you opened up that box and checked the battery.
The reason I ask this is that the weight does not compare to what a 100Ah lithium should weigh.
Even the Elcheapo 100Ah lithium batteries are around the 12Kg and you then have the weight of the box and all the "goodies".
Again, I suspect there is a difference in what was told to you and what you actually have.
