    Added a new awning

Received a brand new awning today, just in time for holidays too. The gloss black anodised aluminium compliments the rest of the gloss black on the car very nicely. Undoubtedly it will be just as hard to keep clean too...

Oh it’s a joy. My tip. If you don’t want an oil leak, make sure you put a dab of silicone gasket in the right angle corners of the semi circle protrusion in the rubber gasket that seals the camshaft cutout. Sorry, can’t think of the correct terminology. It’ll make sense when you see it.

Also make sure you buy injector refitting kits to avoid leaks. There are various other gotchya’s too. I’d pay someone having done one myself

Bugger, LH when viewed from the drivers seat, or the "other" LH when seen from the front of the vehicle? Reason I ask is usually the drivers side one lets go first. Dont know why but just is.

Depending on the kms on the car, its worth to do both while you're in there. Its a pita, so i paid my indie to do them both, about 1850 total, including both manifolds, injector kits (new crush washers) and they did it in one day. Plus 12 months warranty.

Viewed from the drivers seat its the LH. New to the forum so eventually work out how to upload pics 😂. Ive taken your welcomed advice and have the RH on delivery as well as the 6 copper washers. 1850 sounds very reasonable but Covid has financially impacted our family so unless i can get someone on a cashie around brisbane ill be getting stuck in. Cant imagine or expect anyone will think its worth doing for any less than that 1850 Figure. Thanks again for the responses

Nothing has actually happened to mine today....
Once the parts get here they’ll be fitted.

I ordered my new steering wheel a week ago - same unit as posted above actually!

Also have Java Black door handles and update tail lights on their way.

Will fit them and my black grill.

Mirror covers and LHS side vent (have snorkel on other side) off being painted Java Black.

New bonnet decals on their way.

Booked Bullbar in to have it blasted and powder coated in the new year.

Why a new steering wheel? Has the current one stopped going around corners?
