Not much, after leaving a black smoke trail while out yesterday i read the codes and got MAF and MAP errors. Unlikely to be both so lifted the bonnet and found 2 splits in the IC hose, new one ordered so not going anywhere for a few days.

20 Years of Land Rover ownership and I am still to have one leak oil.

The only time I have had one on a flat bed it was leaking diesel. [bigsad]

We returned safely from Dundee Beach having driven over for two nights camping on Friday. It will be nice when the Dry finishes and all the tourists disappear! :wasntme:

What happened to the D4 today, well, funny thing, met some other travellers along the way who's company we enjoy. Have been driving places together, some low range 4WDing, with and without the caravans. Shamefully [emoji35] I got the D4 hopelessly bogged on the beach because I was not paying it the respect it warranted but also expanding my new friend's off-road horizons and doing a snatch recovery. (That's my story and I am sticking to it [emoji12]) Friend's wife in particular was surprised at how different vehicles cope with the off road world, one particular rocky climbing was slow, controlled and fairly uneventful in the D4, quite exciting to watch the Ranger ute do the same piece of track. Certainly driver experience is a factor, in the end it got up fine, just the execution.

As I said they have a Ford Ranger ute, swmbo is not a fan and has fallen for the D4, she is very impressed, quite, comfortable, air suspension (she is very short) so I think there's a convert on the horizon.
