It will have some benefit, however the steering also stiffens up at the 160 threshold. It really does change it into a sublime high speed cruising machine.

and to think we would have those intrepid flying machines e.g. EH Holden et al, flat chat at midnight,two candle power lights, two inch brakes, six inch tyres, no air bag or seatbelt , six or seven youths, two longnecks, ten bobs worth of fishn chips, at 84 m.p.h. ....and nobody cared (much).

I've not had mine at 160 (yet), but I am impressed at only 2700rpm.
New oil cooler, not a bad job, tomorrow I'll wash the mess of it, oil change etc.
Oh and throw A piston seal in the compressor
