Watched Mrs Tombie pinch it again to go to work.
Apparently I get it back when I finish fitting out her Defender.
A couple of small jobs, it's always bugged me that the cargo blind wouldn't fit with the cb in place so got some longer bolts and made some spacer tubes so barrier now sits vertical.
Also added a 2nd monitor to my android head unit, just a $20 eBay job and will be adding a camera down low on the bullbar for the other input so I can switch between the 2.

Impotent washers.
Replaced washer motor, under bonnet pipe work, jets. Working perfectly again! Four lovely fat streams of filtered water.
Also replaced a key fob cover, plus a new genuine radiator cap as a preventative at 10 years.
Got dented in a hail storm!
Put it in low range and drove it onto a tilt truck. Got a lift home with the tilt truck.
While doing a tight turn in a park, a cloud of smoke from under the bonnet and the steering went heavy.
Switched off and opened the bonnet. Oil everywhere between the front of the motor and the fan, obviously from the steering, as the reservoir was empty and steering heavy.
Could not see exactly where it came out. Its probably the first tight turn since I posted on here it never let me down in 10 years. (should not have done that).
Probably the first tight turn since the AC compressor was replaced as well. Are any steering hydraulics moved/undone when fitting an AC compressor?
The steering is very heavy without hydraulic assistance.

My wife noticed it driving home as the setting sun shone over the bonnet. We drove down in our territory which we now realise also has damage. Paying for 2 car insurance claim excesses in a day now, along with my father whose car was also in the driveway at the time. The disco was under a tree but the larger hail that came through Glen Iris was 2 - 4 cm.
Certainly took the shine off buying a new car.[bawl]
