Generally a reconditioned one

Best bet is a complete new rack from JLR or the uk suppliers. I would not waste the effort on a rebuild, nor a rebuilt unit
Edit, i should qualify that, by saying if you are intending to hold onto the car a while longer, then oem or genuine new would be the go. If not, then refurb or good second hand, but then "Caveat Emptor" philosophy would apply.
Hi all,
my 2016 D4 started idling high all of a sudden this evening. It usually idles about 850 - 900 rpm which i would consider normal. Tonight it kicked up to about 1150rpm and sat there. Blipping throttle didn’t resolve the issue so I am thinking its not linkages. So my dark, glass half empty, mechanical engineer brain starts to think air leaks on the induction side?? Any thoughts?

No linkages on these engines to do with the throttle, its all "fly by wire". A servo motor drives the butterfly valve in the throttle based on input signal from the go pedal.
High idle is temperature compensation, to get more coolant flow and airflow once the fans clutch kicks in through the radiator at idle to meet the ecu's cooling setpoint.
