Bet you can’t guess what arrived in the post todayhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...109e4110a2.jpg
ENJOY. You won't be sorry -always had excellent service from them, and never any problems with the products. I also have their Caravan/Reversing camera setup and a second TMPS unit.
I have traditionally left the plug connected all the time, which they now tell me don't do and let the screen (lithium) battery deplete and recharge.
My 12V charger finally gave up after about 8? years at the right angled connection into the screen, but they have fairly priced replacements in stock, and they threw in a set of spare wheel batteries unasked when delivered. Can't complain about that.
Just remember, when you have to replace the wheel batteries in a couple of years to get the "good" batteries - the others only last a couple of months.
I put the screen on the passengers side of centre on the dash so my bride can also watch - and learn a bit about tyre temps and pressures - especially when the van is attached. This in turn leads to other questions about transport and travel. It is amazing what perceptions some who have had limited experience then bring forth!!
I bought the same one years ago and it's been great. My only quibble was the sensors rubbed and gouged a small groove on the rim because of corrugations so I put some rubber around them to prevent this. They looked bloody ugly though. The sensors you have are a little different in design so you may not need the rubber. The alternative is to use metal valve stems.
I actually started off using 19/25mm poly pipe (whichever fitted/can't remember) as a cover for both D2 and tandem van, but found them unnecessary for me as the valve stems didn't foul the rims, and the tyres/sidewalls gave pretty reasonable protection off road. Will revisit for the D4, but can't recall any issues to date.
You will like the Safe-T-Tyre. That's also what I have. Nice big clear screen. In mine the USB-C connector is now a bit loose as I accidentally bent it a bit and it can fall out on dirt roads. Otherwise its great. Have not had any probs with the scuffing of my tires.

Installation complete. I bought this cool 3D printed t from a guy on one of the Facebook LR pages. I’ve still got his details if anyone is after one. I’m not really into windscreen mounts if I can avoid it, so I butchered the safety Dave windscreen Mount and screwed out to the mount. The mount clips in place quite securely but is helped with auto grade double sided tape.
