Discovery 3 and 4 Fault Codes

Plus at the bottom of the Bell Auto Services website you will find an EOBD fault code search engine:

BAS Remaps, Powering the Landrover tuning world! – BAS2RRC Remote Remap Control Landrover Defender hybrid turbos, Remap, Tuining, Intercoolers and more

When you do a search and a code summary comes up on the BAS site, click on the code number again and you sometimes get more details.

For example entering P2263 into the search engine shown above gives this summary:

Then click on P2263 on the summary page and you get this detail:

Generally the detailed page is the same as the summary page - but sometimes you strike gold like the example above.

On the specific topic of the P2263 fault code, another reason for this fault is potentially leaking or faulry vacuum hose and connections, especially those to the primary and secondary turbo solenoids.

Mines thrown this code intermittently, at low throttle % and no/little load. turboes are fine as are the actuator arms and solenoids.

Will be checking vacuum lines at the next opportunity.

Discovery 3 and 4 Fault Codes

Cheers Eric - there is another specific thread which recently discussed this particular fault code.

I just used this as an example here when I stumbled across this extra detail on potential causes and actions hidden on the BAS website.

It is probably an isolated example but I did come across some extended details on other fault codes.
