    That's why I'm going with the Michelin Latitude. We bought the D3 as it was the quietest car we tested that could tow the van. Actually, it was pretty much the quietest car we tested. My wife is hard of hearing, and in the D3 she can hear the kids in the back seat, so even if I have to replace them every 20kk it's a small price to pay to be able to take the family away and not arrive frazzled. The radio is for drowning out the kids, not the tyres.

    I’m doing the Kimberley this year including Gibb. I’m going with something a touch tougher.
