    Aftermarket Mass Airflow sensor

Would there be any reason why a Denso airflow sensor would be detrimental to the performance of the 4.4 V8 in the D3 as opposed to the Bosch OEM device

    Denso products

Denso seem to be OK to provide other parts to Land rover so I will give it a shot and report any issues.

Sorry mate, seen the post forgot to respond, yes denso will be fine as long as it's genuine Denso.
The copy cat game is crazy these days. The effort they go to, to copy a product is crazy, but they always fail will packaging. You will be able to Google how to tell the product is legit. Foil stickers, locations, holograms etc. If it's suspect, don't open and return it.

I was once sold a Bosch MAF sensor that wasn't. It's ripe in the bearing game to. The best tip is reputable retailer
