Thread: Door handle cable

Hi folks,
I need to replace the rear left door handle cable. The one between external handle and actuator. I have removed actuator, removed external handle, but I can’t see a way to remove internal Fittings (I think it’s called the door latch assembly) on door skin that the cable is attached to. It’s loose but I’m at a loss as to how to remove it.The manual is not very clear, I need to get it off to replace cable.
any help greatly appreciated as the vehicle is at a standstill until fixed.
