    Recalibrating the speedo

According to my GPS, the speedo in my D4 is over-reading by 6 kph.
Can I recalibrate the speedo with my Gap tool?
If so, can someone point me in the right direction? I can’t find anything in the Gap tool manual.

And then give up if you have 19” because you can’t.

With my D3 I adjusted the speedo by changing the tyre radius in the CCF. A little bit of trail and error to get it right

The best way is to modify the CCF.
The usual "as built" speedo setting is set at 3.5% below actual and at +2kph.
Although each of these parameters has a number of settings, it appears as if there are only two main market settings. In Genesis, this is displayed under Jaguar Speedometer Calibration Market which can be found under the Warnings and Messages tab. The choices are:
    Market 0: 3.5% + 2kph
    Market 1: 2.0% + 0kph
Accordingly, if the above is set to Market 0, then the following parameters are also set:
    Jaguar KPH Offset: +2kph
    Jaguar Percentage Scaling Factor: 3.5%
I changed all three settings as follows:
    Market 1: 2.0% + 0kph
    Jaguar KPH Offset: 0kph
    Jaguar Percentage Scaling Factor: 2%
    This gives a spot on speedo on 19” 255/55/19 and 18” 265/60/18

    Recalibrating the speedo

With a GAP tool: (this is straight from GAP)

For Discovery 3 2004-2009 and Range Rover Sport 2005-2009
    Menu–Car Config–Instrument Pack–Tyre Radius

    For 2010+ vehicles

Only one of the following settings will work and it depends on the car itself. Menu–Car Config–Instrument Pack–

This setting, Tyre Size MSB – IPC

Or this one, Tyre Rolling Radius (mm) – ABS

Thanks for the help, it got me headed in the right direction!

OK, I'm getting close - but not perfect.

    Gap tool: Menu–Car Config–Instrument Pack–

    then I played with these:

KPH offset: was +2.0kph, now +0.0kph

Speed scaling setting: was 3.5%, now 1.5%

Now the cruise control setting and the GPS speed agree +/- 1.0 kph, and the speedo over-reads 3.0 kph.

    So, GPS = 100, Cruise control = 100, speedo = 103.

Check that the wheel size is set correctly. I find it odd that the cruise control is set to 100 yet the speedo displays 103.
You may also need to find the market setting as that somehow seems to interact with the other two settings you've adjusted.

Where do I find the 'market setting' and the 'wheel size'? Couldnt see them in the menu I followed.
