Thread: Dash Air Vent Pieces

I was fiddling with the right hand centre dash vent (drivers side) and managed to drop the small metal strip piece that controls the vertical and horizontal air directional "anglers" down the airway.

Anyone know if it is reasonably easy to access? I tried a magnet, but without success so far, so the alternative seems to be to locate the lowest near point and see if there is any connector nearby that can be split without dismantling most of the interior.

Fashion a straw piece extension on end of vacuum cleaner.

Also excellent for those parking receipts that fall between dash and windscreen.
