    Thanks, certainly halogen then.

Anyone know an easy way to tell whether they are halogen or xenon ? From looking at a PowerfulUK video there is a ballast at the back of the headlight for xenons.

Mine is a 2013 HSE made October that year.

Saw these if halogen as I would probably replace both sides assuming that the other will eventually fail too.

A MY13 (8-speed) HSE had Xenon headlights as standard factory fitment. Look at the stickers on the top of the headlights they should specify halogen or Xenon.

I looked this morning and it is a xenon not halogen. Saved my bacon there Kelvo. I need to get my eyes checked I think.

I have 2 lights - one low beam one high beam. I presume being that there are 2 that this would be xenon not bixenon which, from what I've read has a shutter that moves to go to high beam. Slightly confused as you can no doubt tell.

    Any advice appreciated.

I have seen D4 xenon bulbs fail, it isn't uncommon.
Probably more uncommon for both to be gone, but you could have been driving with only one working for quite some time.

I've recently done the same to mine. The Stedi copperhead globes make a big difference from the original globes - actually makes the in-fill lights useful for something.
    Cheers .........

My MY11 blew a xenon, I put stedi globes in. One flickered out of the box, they were great with warranty
