Soo.. I watched with interest as we offloaded a horse. Car ign off, doors shut for 2 minutes or more. As the horse went off, the back of the car elevated with a hiss of air in and the front dropped slightly with a corresponding hiss of air out. Car sloping down hill..front up hill. Mmm..

That sounds right. The car was leveling itself in relation to the terrain (it does take terrain into account) but would limit adjustments because of the trailer. So, by your description, as the back was raised due the weight being removed it tried to adjust back to Normal, found that the front terrain was higher than the rear, so adjusted again to sit the car as level as possible (probably taking attached trailer into account). Clever little car.

I've been having similar issues and one anomaly that I've just noticed is that my LLAMS height setting LED remains on when car is locked and left for some time. Should this have been wired differently? IE to a circuit that is not hot-wired to the battery bus so that the LLAMS completely shuts down when the car is locked?

Mine does that too. I'm assuming it's a warning that a LLAMS setting is still active. Makes sense, as normally LLAMS would be off. I find it's a handy reminder to turn it off (e.g. after you're back at camp and no longer need it).

Yes the little LLAMs light stays on, but really the power consumption of that little LED is negligible in the scheme of things - hardly measurable.

Ok. Many thanks for the feedback guys. I'm not too worried about the current draw from the LED but rather the concern that it's indicative of something 'awake' 24/7 which is not good for such a highly electronic car and worried that it may keep some other ECU's awake. No need to worry?

It’s powered from the other ECUs circuit, so the circuit is live because that component doesn’t shut down.
