As long as it’s had belts and transmission serviced as part of its life - and the rest of the servicing is spot on - then it would just be the usual random issues.
 Buying a used Discovery III
 Buying a used Discovery III
		HI everyone.
This is not a new question by any means but I have read what I can find on used Disco 3's and still not sure which way to go.
Available is a Disco3 SE May2009 172,000km. $27,000
It is in WA so I expect it to be more expensive than the East states.
One mature owner with dealer log books complete.
presents immaculate with H/D tow bar and Bulbar. (may indicate it has pulled a van)
Has many extras fitted.
Best I have seen including ones with lower km's
My main question is - are the km's too high to get a good run out of it and secondly
if the vehicle checks out mechanically positive are there any inherent problems that are common for the next 100,000 km as I will be using it 80% around the city and only a little gravel road use.
Any advice would be very handy and will take on board any tips..
PS:
I have a disco II at the moment which has given me grief.
Cheers

SubscriberI've looked at that car myself recently for a friend who isn't buying it now but it drives perfectly and the service history checks out but phone the service manager at Southern Land Rover to find out more if you like.
