As long as your Earths all go to the point in front of the battery box (or other alternatives) and not to the Negative terminal you will be fine.
Not hard to move them if they are.
Same when charging battery - pos to pos, neg to earth point.
Tombie, This had me concerned as ARB installed a bull bar and spotties so thought maybe they had ventured somewhere other than what I was shown. Had a closer look and the negative terminal all appears to be factory based on the youtube video here having the same arrangement JumpsPower AMG18 Jump Start New Land Rover Discovery 4 SDV6 3.0 Diesel - Real Performance Testing - YouTube. Had a look at the manual I had purchased and it does not show what the small connector on the negative terminal is however I recall being told that it had a shunt meter so maybe it is this.

[QUOTE=Dudela;3036311]Just wanted to share my battery purchase which is an experiment however all going well after a couple of days.
found the Exide Extreme XDIN88HMF link below with the same dimensions as the factory one with 900CCA and 36mth warranty. If I can get >3 years it will work out ok when compared against the AGM. I use a portable Aux battery so I can use it in and out of the vehicle so no additional loads on the start battery.
I bought exact same battery from Bunnings (Special Order Item) which I installed at the beginning of September and so far all good.
I have an '09 MY10 2.7L D4, which I've owned for about 2 years now, and my old battery was also a wet battery size 88 which was only 780CCA but was fitted in August 2015, so got 5 years out of that...got stuck with a flat battery due to lack of driving due to Melbourne Covid restrictions, but once I charged it , it still seemed hold charge OK, just didn't want to risk getting stuck again and figured 5 years was a pretty good run!
