    Service coming up

So coming up on a service next month 6.5 years about 118k

I’ve had look through the stickies but thought I’d check for the prevailing wisdom. Here's my list:

    Engine Oil & Filter
Coolant outlet/junction at top of engine
    Coolant

    Diff Fluid front and rear
    Brake Fluid
Partial flush of the ZF8 transmission (done previously at 65k 3.5 years ago)

Transfer case fluid (done at around 100k so not this time)
Belts I think I’ll do next time in 6 months

Also need Anti roll bar bushes and/or linkage bushes I think - bit of a rattle but LCA bushes done only 6 months ago

Anything else I should be thinking about ?

    Thanks,
    David

So stealer service representative tried to tell me that the transmission flush (all of it plus filter) was going to cost me $2400. I pointed out to him that last time, admittedly 3 years ago, they charged me less than half that for a partial flush and that is what I want again this time! After much mumbling and backtracking he quoted $148/litre for ZF8 and 1.5 hours labour for a total of just under $1100.
Thought I’d get a comparative quote from another nearby dealer - circa $1200. Oh and “this wouldn’t normally be carried on your vehicle until the 10 year service”

Anyway, coming to my question, dealer #2 also told me that listed in the 6 year service is replacing all the flexible brake hoses bringing the base price of the service to $2400

If this is wise I’ll get it done but is it? Thoughts ?

p.s. and yes, I know a good Indi will be much better value but the dealer is much more conveniently located for me.

    Thanks,
    David

Is this a mid year service? I thought 7 years/ 185k was body off for belts and the like.

It is a mid year service. I’ll do belts on the next one.

Re timing for hoses dealer sent below schedule through. Perhaps this has changed?

It’s 6 years for the hoses on all LR vehicles. It’s the first vehicle I’ve come across that specifies it and at such an early age.

Brake lines should be changed, yes. I would look at going HEL braided lines ($265) and get any competent workshop to fit for you and bleed.
