Maybe some oversteer when it get to the limits of the R&P steering, are there steering stops that can be adjusted ?
We have two MY12 D4 TDV6's and their steering feel is somewhat different.
The bronze one has super light steering and at the extreme of the turns (i.e. full lock left or right) it does what we've named 'super steering' where for the last part of the turn to the full lock point, the steering wheel goes even lighter and almost lightly pulls itself the rest of the way - at the same time the underbonnet noise changes a bit (perhaps loading up of the steering pump?).
While in comparison the white one doesn't have heavy steering, but it's heavier than the bronze car. I'd describe it as normal - what I'd expect for a car of it's size with good quality steering. Unlike the bronze car, the steering feel doesn't change at all at the end of the turns towards full lock. We are suffering some vibrations through the steering wheel at highway speeds in the white car which may be related to the different steering feeling, or not...
So I'm curious, which car is normal/proper/standard?
Maybe some oversteer when it get to the limits of the R&P steering, are there steering stops that can be adjusted ?

Weight distribution on both?
Tyre make/model size on each vehicle?
Bullbar on both?
One you say is heavier - is the distribution to the rear?
What bushes are in each?
What wheels are on each? Same diameter/offset?
Weight distribution on both? Same same except one is base spec 5 seater and the other is a 7 seater. The bronze car was originally our main family vehicle driven by the wife but was replaced by the white one recently so all personal items moved over.
Tyre make/model size on each vehicle? Different tyres on each - bronze has standard size (255/60R18) Goodyear Efficient Grip and the white has slightly larger at 265/60R18 Dunlop Grandtrek.
Bullbar on both? No bullbar on either. All other accessories (roof racks and Mitch Hitch) are the same.
One you say is heavier - is the distribution to the rear? The white seven seater is the slightly heavier feeling one - I guess with the cargo bay seats it might be slightly more rear heavy?
What bushes are in each? Genuine hydrobushes in the bronze car and the white one received Meyle HD rubber bushes in the new lower control arms - both have had the lower control arms replaced in the last two years.
What wheels are on each? Same diameter/offset? Both have the exact same size and pattern standard wheels fitted.
It’s possibly a wheel alignment thing. Castor dictates how the wheel re-centre’s and what it feels like at the max extremity. A difference in castor could explain it? Many variables unfortunately. Could be variance in the steering rack models/revisions![]()
