d4 has 211000 km, lots of money spent by second owner, however he put poor rubber on for the roadworthy, which cost hours out in the bush, driving into a village on shredded tyre. spare on the 5 new AT'S on in Emerald QLD
I sunk into a very deep dry sand hole few weeks back, had the tailgate up and when a kind man snatched me out I ran into his ute, wrecked my gates no damage to his
suffice to sat my face was red as i spent my life around heavy plant

Sorry if you took that the wrong way mate, they are a common fault item, they often to do well get to 200ks I just did mine at 250 and when it was cooling it seemed ok. But compared to a new one it was completely dead. I did a full flush on the system and it was full of grey death, which is the compressor failing. Being an 8 hr job I just didn't want someone to have to fit it twice

I had the aircon comp go on the Puma at around 120K. Or I should say the incompetent mobile aircon mechanic said it was leaking slightly from the front seal behind the pulley. So off it came and all seals done.... except the outside front seal which keeps lots of dust out. Why? They didn't have one in stock!!!
I bought a replacement off TR (from memory, such as it is) and had that fitted.
Then he stuffed something about so much, flattened the battery and so on I told him to shove off.
Got the stealer to fix it and 3K later all was well. Not the compressor after all but the valve on the evaporator or something. Now I've got the original comp in the shed with new seals except for the front one.
Anyone interested? Offers anyone?
