Gap Tool - Fault Code Interpretation
Like many subscribers I've invested in a Gap iiD Tool and after undertaking the necessary diagnostics and clearing, what remains are the following persistent faults -
U2010-11 (2F) Switch Illumination - General electric failure - circuit short to ground
U1000-00 (2F) Solid state driver protection activated - driver disabled
U3000- 49 (2F) Control Module - System internal failure - internal electronic failure
The LR Service agent said ignore it! It's just a comms failure that doesn't affect anything...
I'm a little skeptical and looking for a place to start

Gap Tool - Fault Code Interpretation
In general U fault codes are ignored especially when other faults are present, however good to understand what would be triggering them.
U2010-11 and U1000-00 is a circuit that has a ground fault and has been disabled somewhere with the switch illumination. It is the equivalent to having a fuse blow but is on a circuit controlled electronically so just gets disabled when a ground fault is detected.
Would not be critical but you may have a switch that does not light up - such as a door window switch or something similar.

U3000-49 is a bit trickier as it is a control module fault that could be on one of several different circuits such as the ABS Module, the Audio System, Central Junction Box, Drivers Seat Module, Rear Camera, Parking Aid, Instrument Cluster, or the Keyless Module.
Depending on which circuit it is on the rectification differs as at least 10 different control modules can trigger this fault code (some may not be even fitted or in use) and some need the module replaced - others need the driving fault triggering the code to be sorted.
I would suspect it is related to the ground fault as if it was more serious then other fault codes should be present.
So yes - you can probably ignore, but if other fault codes come up then it may give you clues.
