d4 2.7 HPFP new ECU Clone fix?
		Hi guys
Quick question regarding my HPFP in my 2010 D4
I Spoke with a Landover Indy and they mentioned they have had good success with "Cloning the engine ECU" and installing the copy back into the car.
Due to the HPFP requiring such a tight operating zone and the software becoming corrupted.
The cost i was quoted is $1700.00 for the ECU clone.
They told me they have had good results with this.
If not Ill be up for a new HPFP
Which I was told I can reinvest that money into the HPFP if it doesnt fix the issue.
Has one one has this done before?
ive never heard of this as a option.
Thanks

SupporterIve had it diagnosed by my normal Indy but they are struggling to locate a new Pump so called a few others around Adelaide. not sure on the exact code, but we have already tried a new fuel filter.

SubscriberMore likely they are altering the parameters for the pump pressure sensor.
Its been a while since mine was done, but think the indie up here charged me $1100 for the pump and 4.5hrs labour . Sounds to me they just dont want to do the job so are trying to go around the issue by adjusting things in the ECU.
Never faulted since having the pump done - hard to say without disecting the bill as i had some other things done at the same time , but i would think for $100 odd more i would just opt for a new pump. I know it was cheaper to get a pump from the UK but i didnt have time to wait for it.
