    D3 reversing camera

I've bitten the bullet and gone the whole hog ordering a GVIF and Carplay adapter. Next I'll want a reversing camera.

Who has installed an aftermarket one that sits in the rear handle, and if you are happy with it, where did you get it?

I've got an aftermarket one. Got it on eBay with the help of cambo@oldjag from memory it can't be a pal type. Needs to be a NTSC.

I just used a $5 ebay camera when I did my install back in late 2014. There's a thread on here somewhere. The camera have been degrading lately, I should probably chuck a new one in there.
Yes, make sure you get the correct format camera...

I got this one. Works great with my Aliexpress head unit. If I was a smarter man I could probably configure the parking lines properly. The fact it's on the door handle takes some getting used to as it's not centre. I use it in conjunction with the Left Side Mirror for most parking.

Brad I have the handle fitted camera. All works ok through the GVIF. Just need to get used to it being "offset" to the passenger side when reversing to line up a trailer - bit if you are just looking for clearance to a wall behind you then it works ok. Was around $35

    Thanks Gents,

I've ordered the $35 E-bay special. I'm going to run a pair of thin coax down the back to facilitate connection of a van camera at a later date.
I figure if I set up some decent terminations inside the tailgate I can easily change out the camera if required without stripping everything down again.
