    LR4 Automatic Access Height Lowering

Can anyone help me understand actual functionality with the “Automatic Access Height” lowering?

It seems to be sporadic how it works and when it does it happens after I’ve already gotten out of the car. Note I’m not referring to manually selecting it as that works, on the auto function on parking)

    - what was design intent of the Auto Access height function as it only occurs after I have already exited the car when parking.
    - How and when is it meant to work?
    - Can you actually set it on/off (ie the LR instructions say you can but I don’t appear to actually have the functionality in car setup menu)

    Thankyou in advance.

Wasn't aware that was possible, seems pointless if like you said it only does it after exiting the vehicle.
I work in the same suburb and have a GAP tool if you need any codes read.

no such thing exists. most likely your car is just self levelling which only happens with doors closed so you will often notice it after you get out and close the doors. It's not usually a substantial change though, unless you're parked on extreme gradients so if your car is actually dropping to access high on all corners that is not normal!
