Tow-ball bike racks that allow the tailgate to open?

I'm planning to buy a "hang" type bike rack since my "platform" type rack is a bit big and bulky for just chucking a few bikes on the back to go to the local trails. Does anyone know a current rack that allows the tallgate(s) to open? Upper only would be fine, if this avoids a complex heavy rack with tilt/swing options.

    Cheers,

    Fraser

Ive got an early version of this one.
    Google Image Result.

This hitch mount rack allows tailgate on the D4 to open when you leave the first rack closest to car empty.

Also tilts away via the lowest point so that if you have all 4 spaces full, tailgate can still be opened.

Not sure if this one has a wide enough swing for the disco but something like this should allow you to use anything

The Yakima racks that pivot down also work. I have a Backroads and i can open upper and lower tailgate with it on - and Kaymar swing-away tyre carrier.

I was tempted to hit Shingleback up for a custom 2 bike carrier to open with the door on my defender. Ended up going a different way.

    Yakima Swingdaddy is the one.
Yakima SwingDaddy 4 Bike Hitch Carrier

Have logged many cross country trips with this fully loaded either on the receiver of the 110 or on the receiver on the camper trailer. The only catch is that it assumes full sized bikes/standard frames, so if you have children or grandkids, a little wrangling or use of a cargo strap may be needed.

Just for a further option. I've got one of these. Very happy with it. Easy to adjust for different bikes and most importantly very easy to load. Drops down and can open top tail gate when loaded. It's pretty heavy though.
