    Immobiliser pairing problems

Hi all, just had a Brisbane LR workshop try to integrate a 2nd hand immobiliser to my d4. Result - doors would lock/unlock but ignition would not energise (message Indicated that the smart key not found, when using either unit).Several hrs of trying different strategy and comms with Auto Logic resulted in being able to start my car but now passenger sides doors won't lock via the smart key. They now alledge the passenger door locks must have always not worked, so bugger off we've wasted too much time on your car already !! Does anyone out there have any ideas or recommendations.
All help will be gratefully recieved.

    If it were a D3

If it were a D3 then I'd definitely say the lock actuators were at fault once you got it starting the car again. This has happened on 3 of my 4 doors over time.

There are references to the lock motors/actuators of D4's in various threads if you do a search using the Google Search of AULRO.com only in the bottom left hand corner of a page.

Try starting with this one - MY12 D4 - individual doors not locking or unlocking
