You’ll need a controller to turn on DRLs. The vehicle won’t be able to do it for you easily.
Just keep in mind to be legal DRLs must be 400mm apart.
Hi chaps
D4 2012 TDV6
I have read almost all the threads and am biting the bullet
Have ordered the Prospeed bracket
Now to the spots
I want DRL
I want small and round ~7” (understated)
So looking at Stedi... no DRL
But found Hardkorrs - anyone used these ?
BZR-X Series 7" LED Driving Lights (Pair w/Harness) - Hardkorr Australia
Any other suggestions?
Also, I will get a auto electrician to wire it all up (want it to be Smick)... and wiring is not my forte
So I am in Brisbane.. anyone got someone they could recommend?
Finally - for DRL I don’t have DRLs on my D4 ... so I presume my sparky will need an ID tool to turn on DRLs?
Sorry for all the questions
Thanks
Foz

Have a chat to this bloke. If he won't do it, at least he will be good with advice.

I have these on my car and really like them. Not round nor DRL but I think understated. Striker LED Driving Light - Lightforce

Thanks guys another question - had anyone used the “lock window” button or any other button as the cabin switch
I.e. run the relay off that button
So windows locked = lights on
Windows unlocked = lights off
Or visa versa
Just thinking
That’s not thinking
That’s daft
