Rain = Water in the back

Well it’s as wet as I can remember it in Perth at the moment … so much so it’s raining in the disco!

How would water get in the back of car (rear inside light) and saturate the upper liner in the back ?
    Update:

    leaky weld?

Rain = Water in the back

Tail light on tailgate likely cracked.

    Other potentials are
    - Shark fin port on roof
    - Rail mounts in roof channels
    - Rear glass sealing failed

    Likely the Tailgate light though.

+1 for cracked tailgate light. Mine is cracked both sides but has been re-sealed and no longer leaks.

At least in my 101 any rain getting in just goes straight out again through all the gaps in the floor. Rain = Water in the back

If you cannot justify replacement and the lens section is not faded…

Get some Vehicle Wrap. Clean the top of the light, apply the film abs trim to suit.

This is a good idea even if you replace as it protects from UV and increases its life.
