Oh yes. For the zip kit, as you say there’s a model/serial on the side you need to find and use that to ensure the correct kit. I’m sure ZIP has guidance on how to find the code

Also search for ZF distributors in Australia.
I bought my zip kit, pump, bridge and mechatronic seals and solenoids from the US, steel pan and duoprene gasket from Victoria, separator plate from the WA ZF distributor (after I had it all apart) and ATF fluid from SCA (Penrite BMV) via special order for a 20L drum. Was around d 1200 in parts all up.
I've got a left over separator plate here, brand new in the box. I bought both available options before I dropped the pan. Happy to sell it. I can get you the part number of your interested.
There is a guy on eBay in Australia selling genuine zf parts, his name is MJ products, I get all my stuff from him.

I’m doing a massive maintenance surge at 250k kms. After a first drop with LG6 still had clunky 2 to 1 down shift at lights so on second oil drop I replaced these rubber seals above the mechatronics plate and wow it’s made a huge difference, the shifts are super smooth at all speeds and power loads. The old ones were very hardened. For about $40 extra it was worth it before going down the solenoid change route.
Do a voltage check on the solenoids you've pulled out. they should all read the same. Hope you've also got a new bridge seal the one at the rhs of the photo (two black squares with a hole in each, connected via a thin strip of rubber) - this is the main fluid transfer from transmission to valve body seal, oh and a new mechatronic seal.
Looks nice and clean after 250,000km
[QUOTE=PerthDisco;3115645]Bit scary removing the plate but super easy with care. ]
Awesome, nice job. When I opened mine up was super careful not to lose any of the detent ball bearings, little filter and such.
Did you end up putting a zip kit through as well on the valve lines?
