Angry 2015 disco 4 sat nav

Hi all, just spoken to land rover australia regarding update for our discovery. Tell me contract between tom tom and land rover has expired. Can't give me a time line for new contract. Apparently up to land rover uk to negotiate new contract. I know probably better off just buying new Tom Tom but after paying big bucks for a new car very disappointing.

I would like to upgrade my 2016 one as well. I need to update via CD/DVD. Don't know if this is legit, it is certainly expensive. https://www.navigationau.com/land-ro...ion-disks.html Anybody?

I bought a Garmin and put in my MY14 HSE. I have it mounted above the original screen.

Another option is to fit an Apple Carplay/ Android Auto module and use your phone mapping apps (Google, Apple or Waze)

Doesn't work well if no satellite coverage. Flattens the phone too ...

    Works fine:

And I’m assuming you mean “phone coverage”

    1) download offline map
    2) sit phone on a charger

2 very easy to sort items

That is very interesting. So if one is using Google Maps or Apple Maps, it is possible to download off line maps? I know Metroview uses a downloaded map database ... I did not realise Google or Apple has that facility.
