Front puddle lights no longer working

Decided to add "Landrover" logo puddle lights to the front doors on my 2013 Disco 4. All other interior lights and the rear door puddle lights had been upgraded to LED's.
I plugged the logo unit in to the drivers side front door, no illumination ! Swapped back to the original lamp, no illumination! ( Was working before the change ). Decided to try the passenger side front door, you guessed it, that side no longer works either. Out with the trusty Gap tool, 2 faults recorded, the drivers door module, DDM and the passenger door module, PDM, both with the same DTC, B109C-15 (6C) which translates to " Front courtesy lamps, general electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open ". Modules cooked ?
