Anyone using the APT Offroad brand of compressor guard, side steps, etc on their vehicle? Quality and designs look excellent.
We have all they offer on our D4, have copped a bit and held up.. Also look good..

The sliders dont stick out too far, but they are good for little feet..
Not sure of the effectivness of the lower control arm guards, but I am sure they have helped avoid damage at somepoint.

they're hugely popular on here. I have all except the LCA and the engine guards. The sliders and the compressor guard and tank guard have probably saved me many times over being stuck on a rock step sitting directly on the compressor or sides.
I didn't get the engine guard because there's already a giant metal plate there from factory. I might consider replacing it when the factory plate is damaged beyond function though. I'm not really sure what the LCA guards are protecting but they do look cool. LCAs are a throwaway part so I'm not concerned over them getting dragged over rocks and I imagine any hit hard enough to damage/deform the LCA would have the same result with or without the guards.
EDIT: there are two version of the sliders though depending on what you want (which I wasn't aware of and had to get them swapped over). one has a silver stainless steel plate riveted over the top and is more of a step than a slider. the other has the a black powder coated welded plate on the underside designed to prevent rock hang-ups on the tubing.
