Team
I’ve replace my EHB a few times but this is different. The lights are flashing red and the warning is on solid orange. There seems to be no power to the hand break and it hasn’t locked on as before.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Dan

As suggested, could be just the switch.
FWIW, I wrote it up my experience here:

Yes, handbrake light would flash red and not release when I depressed the button. But it would engage the h/b when I pulled the button up. No squeals or grinds, just as normal.
Thankfully, on my 2011 HSE, the h/b would automatically disengage as I drove off, but I'd still have the yellow triangle showing.
Changing the switch is the cheapest place to start. I think I paid way too much from the local dealer for the part, but I didn't have time to wait for mail order.
BTW - You can do the switch from the top, but you may find it easier to pop the centre console out. I did.
PowerfulUK have separate YT videos on both the console removal and EPB switch replacement.

Thanks for the tips guys although I have just replaced the handbrake switch (this what the scan tool said was wrong) and still no bloody change any other ideas this is doing my head in as I’m time poor and 200 km from the mechanics
Thanks
Dan
I'd say the park brake mechanism at the rear wheels may still be sticking.
Jack up thr rear and see if you can spin the wheel by hand with epb off. Listen for dragging sounds.
Remove the wheel and brake disc / drum and clean out.
I’ll give that a crack now.
The EPB switch does nothing at the moment it’s like it has no power.
