Thread: Driving lights wiring harness needs an accessory fuse

From memory one of the ones near the 2 Red fuses is an accessory switched source.

Grab a multimeter

I've been through the wiring diagram and I can't find an accessory driven circuit in the engine bay.

There are a few ignition driven circuits however. My go to would be fuse 7 or 8 (heated seat circuits) if you had to use an "add-a-fuse".

I've tapped an ignition feed from the relay socket with the circle around it. Just stick a standard 6.35mm spade in there.

Plenty of accessory fuses in the central junction box, but stuffed if I can find any in the engine bay box.

Edit: 7 is climate control, 8 is heated rear seats. Both come off the same relay that supplies the lighting circuits also and is directly switched by the ignition signal.

Tap engine on for DRLs or they will be on when ignition is in accessories.

used the piggyback off fuse 7 - worked a treat. Thank you very much

Please pardon my ignorance, but why you need an accessories or ignition connection to operate driving lights?
