    D4 3.0L TDV6 Towing Temps Update

Just done a 700 km trip from Fremantle to Kalbarri via Coalseam and Pindar to check out this years wildflower offerings after that cyclone some months ago.

Finally got my act together and sorted the GAP Tool instrument readings I wanted and a couple of pleasant surprises with towing temps pulling the 3.5T brick - usually at 85 - 95 with ambient under 30C.
EGT Bank 1 sensor 1 - usually sat at around 130 - 150C, but with one rise to 450C up a big for WA hill.
    EGT Bank 2 sensor 1 - sat around 450-500 - a max of about 550C
Coolant and Transmission temp were about the same generally between 90 - 94C with a max of 105C at one point
Engine oil sump temp got up to 125C and volts started at 14.4 and slowly dropped to 13.8.

I was surprised at the EGT temp differences - can think of a couple of explanations but would like to hear from the wise.

As an aside, my binnacle temp gauge has just decided to not rise about about 1/4 of the way up to normal - defective sensor?

EGT temps vary because dual turbo. One bank doesn’t work hard below a certain load and RPM.
