    Hey Nick, things are looking much better. Very little smoke, so I'm looking to book the RWC and sort rego. I'll probably have to buy a windscreen for the RWC

    I read timing belt parts, saw a number and thought it was for the timing belt idlers, and said not to use the Dayco ones but get the NTN as they are made in Japan and are a better quality item.

    But the part numbers didnt gel, so long winded...

    Is the dayco water pump alright? Too late but I have ordered and sitting on my table now. While I’m at it, is it worth changing the thermostat?

    I’ve ordered the belt tensioner and idler pulley from jlr uk.

    I'm not having any problems so far with the parts that I fitted. I clocked up a couple of thousand km so far.
