    Suspension Airline and fittings

    Hello Fellow Discovery owners,
after many years of escaping undiagnosable air suspension issues I have find been struck with the following
C1A20-64 (AF) Pressure increases too slow when filling reservoir Algorithm based failure - signal plausibility failure
I have replaced the compressor, and have on order a new relay.
Now about to start on replacing o rings in valve blocks
    but
before I start, I fell it may be handy to have some air pipe and fittings on hand.
Can anyone recommend a good online supplier of them ?

You probably jumped the gun buying a new compressor and you most likely won't need any hose or fittings, are you replacing like for like ?

    Already had it

    I already had the compressor.
It is the original that I had reconditioned with a full kit from 4x4 Airseals.
The one that was in there was an el’cheapo one from eBay, which I installed 12 months ago when I first got this message.
everything has been ok, but when I did the rebuild on the original, there was a heap of dust, from the decayed drying crystals on the wrong side of the filter.
I think that I now need to clean and replace seals in all three control blocks, and want to make sure I have all parts for an eventuality.
Also need to check all the struts for leaks.
if I don’t use the air fittings they go into the spares bucket.

    Regards,
    Richard

There is a recent post about hose and fittings which a search should bring up.

Just clean the main block out - seals will probably be OK. Also when you rebuilt your compressor did you instal an aluminium cap as the originals develop small cracks between the hose outlets and this will cause the fault code you have. Also the relay is the same as the one that sits next to it in the under bonnet fuse box - so to test just swap them around.

Airline is 6mm and I have used both plastic and metal joiners. Enzed, pirtek etc should have it in stock.

Yes definitely did the whole job, cap, piston, exhaust valve, delivery valve , gave the motor a clean.
sounded wonderful running on the bench.
    thanks for the relay tip.

If you Google "Tubefit" you will find component replacements.

THought this may have been the leak ......

So cleaned up the garage enough to work on the D3
    On stands - removed wheels
    Found this
Sprayed with soapy water, but no bubbles and rear end was not sitting down at all, if anything the front was sitting very low.

Any idea what would have done this ?
have not been off-road and was not there 5K ago when I did the last service as I checked all brake pads and would have seen this.

Your pics do not work - the method you used is for pics that are online not from your own c drive.

When making your post and you want to put in pics from your PC scroll down to manage attachments and then up load your pic in there .

There is a thread somewhere about how to post pics but I cannot find it. You would think it would be under "Forum Rules and Guidelines" but I dont see it there.
