2.5 days to my door.
Gday All,
Ordered parts from AF in UK last sunday, just got txt delivery in Perth this arvo.. Gotta give it to AF and DHL .
Sadly for me I cant do the job till mid next week as I'm driving out at 4am tomorrow morning but atleast when I get back I can see if I can remove the covid devil from my D3.
I would doubt I would have got delivery from within Australia that quickly.
Cheers Bulletman

+2 on that, had very good deliveries from the UK recently. At the opposite end of the spectrum, 6 weeks from Germany for a 0.4kg satchel....
3 weeks and counting for a delivery from Brisvegas. Hasn't even left yet.
Regularly get packages from the UK pretty quick though!
All I'll say is that it's amazing how quick stuff comes, when it actually gets sent when it should.
When I ordered a new D4 tow hitch for the D3 from the UK, I ordered it Thursday evening Perth time and it was on my doorstep on Sunday morning. That's quite a large chunk of cast iron and postage wasn't particularly onerous.
Likewise, I order stuff from the East and it takes weeks.
On the other hand, when my outlaws in Scotland post stuff, it can take a month. That's the difference between using the "post" and a vendor who has a good relationship with their shipping company.
Also the direct flights from the UK to us our here in the colonies helps
I have the DHL tracking app on my phone. Watching AF do their stuff is impressive - my last order was placed about 1400 UK time. DHL picked it up in Southampton 45 minutes later. 1 hour later it was at Heathrow. Customs and loading took 30 minutes or so... It left that evening, and arrived in Brisbane the next morning. Of course, it then took Aus customs and post a week to move it the 75km to me from there!
