So what is the difference between SDV6 and TDV6.? My original thought was it was the early D3 engine but it seems the TDV6 is twin turbo in the D4.
Also in relation to the deisel engine model , is the D4 suffering the HPFP issues in the later years say 2014 onwards..
The failing of the manifolds, was this fixed in later models,? From what I read I cant see anything to suggest so, but is there a km range they are failing in ?

Engines are exactly the same, just the tune is different, both twin turbo, no idea on HPFP issues, manifolds have continual "upgrades " apparently but the later ones will more than likely still fail , after all its still the same basic design but maybe the changed ribbing on the later ones may make a difference. Whether it is enough of the difference to remove the failure all together I doubt that very much
